LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After a quick turnaround from last nights' game, the Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-20, PSACE) fell at home on Saturday afternoon to Visiting Shepherd (25-3, 13-3 PSACSE).
Shepherd took the first set by a score of 25-17. LHU made some noise in the second set not going down without a fight but ultimately dropping the second set 25-21 and then the match when Shepherd regained control in the third set.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) led the way with eight kills on the day. McDonald also recorded two blocks and six digs in an all-around nice effort.
Cassidy Hoover (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle High) had a game high 19 digs on the defensive side for the Bald Eagles.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) would add 19 assists of her own to pace the Bald Eagles. Nealon would also add two service aces on the day.

LHU will be on the road for the final time this season when they travel to local rival Bloomsburg on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. Then on Friday, November 15 Lock Haven will be at home against East Stroudsburg set for a 7 p.m. first serve.
