Setting the stage:
The nationally-ranked Lock Haven University wrestling team will close its 2018-19 Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) slate on Saturday, February 16 at Cleveland State.
Saturday's match in Cleveland is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start and will serve as the make-up date for a match that was snowed-out back on January 20.
The Bald Eagles are 8-3 overall and a perfect 5-0 in EWL action, as they look to cap a perfect run through league action. Lock Haven has already clinched a share of the 2018-19 EWL regular season dual championship and can win the title outright on Saturday with a victory. LHU's last EWL Team Dual Championship came back in 1996.
Cleveland State is 4-9 overall and 1-4 in EWL action. The Vikings will take on Northern Illinois Saturday prior to their match with Lock Haven.
