KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (14-13, 9-11 PSAC) fell to Kutztown University (17-11, 14-6 PSAC), 88-61 in the final game of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) regular season on Saturday afternoon.
The Bald Eagles now prepare for the first round of the PSAC playoffs on Monday, March 4. The Haven will host East Stroudsburg at 6 p.m. in the Thomas Fieldhouse. The Bald Eagles split the season series with East Stroudsburg as both teams defended their home court during the regular season. This will be the first time in 28 years, the 1990-91 season, that Lock Haven has hosted a playoff game. It is also the teams first PSAC playoff appearance since the 2015-16 season.
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) would lead the Haven offensively pouring in 26 points, which tied her career high. Parker also grabbed nine rebounds and blocked two shots to round out her strong performance. Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) would chip in scoring 10 points and securing 8 rebounds.
