ATHENS, Ohio – Playing on the road for the third straight game, the Lock Haven University field hockey team (2-3) fell to host Ohio University (3-1) 4-0 today in non-conference action.
The host-Bobcats scored twice in the second quarter and led 2-0 at halftime. Ohio added a pair of goals in the third to extend the lead to 4-0.

Joaquina Orlandini (Concordi, Entre Rios, Argentina/San Antonio School) finished with eight saves over 60 minutes and
Jazmin Palma (Entre Rios Province, Argentina./Colegio Sagrado Corazon de Jesus) fired off all three of Lock Haven's shots. All three shots were on goal.
Palma is the reigning Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) Rookie of the Week and her exceptional play continued today.
LHU entered the weekend at 2-2 with wins over Bryant and Colgate.
The Bald Eagles will quickly return home and host Appalachian State on Sunday, September 15 at 12 p.m. The last time LHU and App State met, Lock Haven won 3-0 in 2016. Appalachian State moved to 5-0 on the season after a 1-0 win today at Saint Francis.
