Women's Volleyball drops conference opener
The LHU women's volleyball team drops road contest to Edinboro.
EDINBORO, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-5, 0-1 PSAC) drops road conference opener to host Edinboro (7-5, 1-0 PSAC).
Edinboro got out to a quick start winning the first two sets. The Fighting Scouts won the first set 25-14 and the second set 25-17.
The Bald Eagles played a tight third set before ultimately falling 26-24 and the match 3-0.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) led the way for LHU on the day recording seven kills, two service aces and 12 digs. Each were a team high for the Bald Eagles.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) was right in the middle of the offense tallying 17 assists for Lock Haven. Defensively
Cassidy Hoover (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle High) and
Madison Goodwin (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle Antrim) recorded nine and seven digs respectively.

LHU will be right back in action tomorrow night Friday, September 27 against Gannon for a 7:00 p.m. first serve.
