LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (10-9, 7-7 PSAC East) returns home to face Shepherd (15-5, 9-5 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East matchup this Saturday, Feb. 1, with tip-off set for 1 p.m. Saturday's game is part of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference sportsmanship and referee appreciation week.
THE SERIES:
- The last time the Bald Eagles met the Rams was Saturday, Jan 11, in West Virginia. Lock Haven fell in a close game, 71-64.
- This will be the second meeting between the Bald Eagles and the Rams dating back to the 2010 season. Shepherd, located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, joined the PSAC for the 2019-20 season, having previously competed in the Mountain East Conference (MEC) since its inception in 2013.

- The East Stroudsburg Warriors defeated Lock Haven this Wednesday 58-42 at Koehler Fieldhouse in a PSAC East matchup.
- Shepherd, who sits at third in the PSAC East, beat the PSAC East number 2 seed, Shippensburg, Wednesday (Jan. 29) at home, as the Rams continued their 4 game winning streak.
- The Bald Eagles are looking to maintain their, almost perfect, 7-2, home record.
- Marena Lonardi (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) and Bink Redman York, Pa./ William Penn) led the Bald Eagles against the Warriors, as Lonardi scored a team-high 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Redman recorded 11 points along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
- Jaynelle Robinson (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport (Monroe CC)) was active on the boards again, recording a team high, 8 rebounds, 4 of which were offensive. Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) added 7 of her own rebounds while recording 6 points.
- The teams will engage in a pregame handshake at center court prior to the game as part of the PSAC sportsmanship and referee appreciation week.
