The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team dropped a conference matchup with ESU on Wednesday night in Thomas Fieldhouse.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (12-13, 9-12 PSACE) fell to East Stroudsburg University (18-8, 14-7 PSACE), 92-83, on Senior Night in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game.

Both squads shot the lights out in the first half with the Haven knocking down 56.6 percent from the floor, while the Warriors were just behind at 54.1 percent. Stingy defense late in the half from ESU allowed the Warriors to build up 54-37 halftime advantage.

Lock Haven made a run late in the second half and were able to close the gap to just five points with under two minutes remaining, but thanks to some clutch late shooting the Warriors held on for a 92-83 win.

Christian Kelly (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) posted a team high 21 points along with 12 rebounds for his eighth double-double on the season. Kelly added three assists and went 8-9 from the free throw line.

Four total Bald Eagles hit double figures on the night as Jesse McPherson (Philadelphia/Archbishop Carrol), Trevor Lecuona (Baltimore, Md./ Oakdale) and Nasir Campbell (Philadelphia/ Simon Gratz) all reached the mark.
