The Lock Haven University field hockey team is set to host a pair of home games this weekend.
The Bald Eagles will host Richmond on Friday, October 15 at 3 p.m. in Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) play, before hosting Sacred Heart on Sunday, October 17 at 1 p.m. in non-conference action. Richmond is 4-9 overall and 3-1 in the A-10. Sacred Heart is 2-9 overall, but will play at Saint Francis on Friday, before making the trip over to Lock Haven on Sunday afternoon.

LHU NEWS, NOTES & WEEKEND STORYLINES - -
- Last Friday (Oct. 8), LHU opened the weekend at No. 11 Saint Joseph's and the nationally-ranked hosts took home a 6-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory.
- Lock Haven was scheduled to play at La Salle in A-10 play on Sunday (Oct. 10), but that game was canceled because of COVID-19 safety protocol and guidelines. Per Atlantic 10 Conference policy, host La Salle was later awarded a 1-0 win by forfeit. The result will be reflected in conference record only and listed in the conference standings. Overall, it stands as a no contest for LHU's overall record and the Bald Eagles remain 3-7 overall.
- Constanza Lopez Zabala leads LHU with a team-high six goals and team-best 13 points (6G, 1A, 13 PTS.). Her six goals are tied for the fifth-most in the A-10 and her 13 points are tied for the seventh-most in the league.
- Martina Spangenberg is helping to pace the attack with four goals and 12 total points (4G, 4A, 12 PTS.). Her four assists are a team-high.
- Amy Stevens has two goals and three assists (7 PTS.) on the season.
- Goalkeeper Joaquina Orlandini continues to lead the way for LHU. Her 7.1 saves-per-game is tops in the A-10. Orlandini ranks third in the Atlantic 10 in save-percentage with .755 and her 2.25 goals-against-average is sixth-best in the league.
- The Bald Eagles will close the 2021 regular season with a four-game homestand. Friday's game vs. Richmond marks the first of the four regular-season ending games at home, and is one of three vs. Atlantic 10 opponents. In all, LHU will host Richmond (Oct. 15), Sacred Heart (Oct. 17), Davidson (10/24) and Massachusetts (10/30).
