The Lock Haven University field hockey team is set for a pair of weekend Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) road games.
The Bald Eagles will open the weekend on Friday, October 8 at No. 11 Saint Joseph's, before traveling to La Salle for a Sunday (Oct. 10) match.

- Constanza Lopez Zabala leads LHU with a team-high six goals and team-best 13 points (6G, 1A, 13 PTS.).
- Martina Spangenberg is helping to pace the attack with four goals and 12 total points (4G, 4A, 12 PTS.)
- Zabala's six goals are tied for the fourth-most in the A-10 and her 13 points are ranked in a tie for sixth in the league.
- Goalkeeper Joaquina Orlandini continues to lead the way for LHU. She's ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in saves-per-game with 6.44 and her save-percentage of .773 ranks third. Orlandini's 1.84 goals-against-average is fifth-best in the A-10.
- Lock Haven opened the shortened and special 2020-21 season with a 2-1 road-win over La Salle in the spring (March 19, 2021).
- Last spring, (April 10), the Bald Eagles also secured an upset-win at Saint Joseph's – ranked 19th at the time – in a shootout. It marked LHU's first win over the Hawks since October 17, 2014 (W, 2-0). Entering that contest in April, Saint Joseph's had won 28 consecutive Atlantic 10 regular season and tournament games.
- LHU is 1-3 in true road games this season and the Bald Eagles are looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
