LHU Football: Game Day Central, Nov. 13 vs. Seton Hill (Senior Day/Veterans Appreciation Day)

The Lock Haven University football team is set to close the 2021 season at home on Saturday, November 13 vs. Seton Hill. The Week-11 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East-West crossover is set for a 1 p.m. start.
 
The game marks LHU's annual Veterans Appreciation game and all veterans will be admitted into the game for free. The Bald Eagles will also celebrate their 2021 Senior Day and honor the program's graduating seniors.
 
Lock Haven will enter the final weekend of the 2021 season with a 1-9 overall record with the win coming at Lincoln in Week-1 action. LHU went 0-7 in PSAC East action.
 
Seton Hill has lost two straight games and went 2-5 in PSAC West action. Overall, Seton Hill is 4-6 on the season.

- First meeting between the two schools since 2015, a 27-10 Seton Hill win in Greensburg, Pa.
- The only other meeting between the two schools came during the 2014 season. Seton Hill leads the all-time series, 2-0.
 
LHU Football News, Notes & Storylines - -
- Quarterback Ethan Persa threw for a career-high 297 yards last week at Shippensburg. He went 21-for-38 with a touchdown and one interception and surpassed his previous career-mark of 213 pass-yards, which came during his Bald Eagle debut at Clarion in Week 2 of the 2018 season.
- Jadin Goodman hauled in six catches for 116 yards last week at Shippensburg.
- Linebacker Shane Scott leads the defense with 91 total tackles. His 91 tackles are the fifth-most in the PSAC. Scott has 60 solo tackles, the most of any player in the PSAC this season. His 60 solo stops rank 12th in all of NCAA Division II football. Overall, Scott's 9.1 tackles-per-game rank fifth in the PSAC.
- Running back DeAndre Wakefield's 95-yard touchdown run during Week-3 (Sept. 18) action at Slippery Rock remains the longest rush of the season by any player in the PSAC. It's the longest rushing play in the PSAC by seven yards.

LHU Fall Athletic Event Spectator Policy - -
On September 1, the LHU department of athletics announced its spectator policy for the fall 2021 season and fans are welcome to attend all events hosted by LHU. For outdoor venues, face coverings are not required, but LHU encourages social distancing. In conjunction with full and current LHU policy, face coverings are required indoors on campus. On August 13, LHU instituted an updated indoor masking mandate for the entire campus which included all athletic facilities. The updated campus policy requires all students, staff, coaches, officials and spectators to wear proper face coverings indoors. The practice will stand regardless of a person's vaccination status. Athletes will not be required to wear masks during competition.

LHU students, faculty & staff - FREE with LHU ID
*The ticket gate will open two hours before kickoff (11 a.m.).
 
Parking Information - -
Game day parking is available in the Akeley Hall and Zimmerli Gymnasium parking lots. 
 
Transportation - -
Please note, transportation – via a game day shuttle – will be provided Saturday (Nov. 13) from 12 p.m. (1-hour before kickoff) until one hour after the end of game. The shuttle will run from the Thomas Fieldhouse circle, through the Zimmerli parking lot and to Hubert Jack Stadium.

LHU is pleased to announce that alumni, parents, friends, supporters and fans are invited to partake in one of our favorite game environment initiatives, the LHU Tailgate Zone. Please don't wait - - tailgating spots are very limited. Thank you for your continued support.
 
The tailgate lot will open at 9 a.m. Saturday.

  • All Tailgating/Parking Passes come with two game admission tickets.
  • All tailgate pass purchases are non-refundable.
  • If space allows, a limited number of tailgate spots may be available on game day for $50.
 
Pet Policy - -
Per the LHU athletics pet policy, no pets are allowed inside any LHU athletic venue, including Hubert Jack Stadium. Please note: Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
