SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (3-19, 1-11 PSAC) dropped a road match with Shippensburg University (13-14, 6-6 PSAC), 3-0, (25-19, 25-19 & 25-18) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action

Shippensburg picked up the first two set wins by the identical 25-19 score and collected 15 and 13 kills in each. The Raiders picked up the match-ending third set win 25-18 behind a .241 hitting percentage.

Grace Hugar (Clarence, Pa./Bald Eagle) paced the LHU offense and notched a match-high 11 kills. Hugar also added seven digs along with one service ace.

Regan Happ (Lighthouse Point, Fla./Westminster Academy) led the Bald Eagles and was tied for the match-high with 14 digs.
Ella McBride (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) chipped in seven digs of her own.

Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) rounded out the Bald Eagle offensive attack and handed out 18 assists.

LHU returns home to Thomas Fieldhouse for two final regular season home games next Friday and Saturday (Nov. 12-13). Friday the Bald Eagles host Kutztown and on Saturday they play host to East Stroudsburg. Both games are scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
