The Lock Haven University wrestling team is set to open the dual portion of the 2021-22 season with two home-duals this week against non-conference opponents. LHU will host Big Ten foe Michigan State on Thursday, December 2 in the annual White Out match, the Spartans were receiving votes in this week’s NWCA national poll. Then on Saturday, the Bald host No. 22 Lehigh, that match also serves as a Crimson Out and Alumni Day for Lock Haven.

LHU’s last time out:

On Sunday, November 28, the Bald Eagles hosted the annual Mat-Town Open. In what was a limited lineup of unattached wrestlers, redshirt-freshman Anthony Noto shined on his was to a 3-0 day which saw him capture the 125-pound title.

The march toward 100 wins:

Luke Werner currently sits at 97 career wins as he looks to become LHU’s 23rd member of the exclusive 100-win club. The redshirt-senior racked up four wins on his way to the 125-pound title at the Navy Classic on November 20th in his last outing.
