The LHU men’s soccer team opened the 2021 season today on the road at Cal and the two teams battled to a spirited, 1-1, double-overtime draw.

CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (0-0-1) opened the 2021 season today on the road at California (Pa.) University (0-1-1) and the two teams battled to a hard-fought 1-1 double-overtime draw.

Lock Haven got on the scoreboard early after Tom Pombor (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) made it 1-0 just 5:14 into the match.

Pombor tucked a crossing-pass from Zane Puhala (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) into the side netting for LHU's first goal of the season.
