LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (4-7, 2-6 PSAC) rolled to a win over Mansfield University (1-12, 0-7 PSAC), 102-81, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup on Monday night.
The Mounties and Bald Eagles traded buckets early and Mansfield even held a 15-14 lead at the 14:00 minute mark, but LHU caught fire and built up a 42-19 lead with seven minutes to play. The Bald Eagles poured on a season-high 60 first-half points to take a 60-33 lead into the break. LHU shot a sparkling 60.5 percent from the field as the points piled up.
The buckets kept coming in the second half as the Bald Eagles led by as many as 32 points early in the half. LHU pushed its way to the 100-point mark for the first time since a February 15, 2020 win over Shippensburg. Behind more strong shooting, the Bald Eagles cruised home with the 102-81 win.

DaQuan Granberry (Linwood, Pa./Chichester) career-high performance led the outburst for the Bald Eagles as the junior poured in 24 points. Granberry also grabbed a career-high ten rebounds to notch his first double-double of the year.
Jesse McPherson (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) tallied a season-high 19 points as four Bald Eagles reached double figures.
James Price (Joppa, Md./Archbishop Curley) and
Dymir Montague (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) notched 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Eli Washington (East Petersburg, Pa./Hempfield) filled up the stat sheet with nine points and a game-high seven assists. He also grabbed two steals and four rebounds.
The Bald Eagles season-high in points came on a blistering 51.3 percent from the field and 48.1 from beyond the arc. LHU also held a commanding 47-34 lead in the rebounding department.
