LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team (3-9-3, 1-9-3 PSAC East) came up short, 3-1, after a late flurry from Kutztown University (9-4-3, 8-4-3 PSAC East) on Wednesday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.

Kutztown broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after the Golden Bears converted the spot kick in the 25
th minute. Kutztown held onto the 1-0 lead heading into halftime to set up an entertaining second half.
Mackenzie Hernley (Annville, Pa./Annville-Cleona) equalized for Lock Haven when she linked up with
Ella Hart (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) inside the box to bring the Bald Eagles level at 1-1.
As the second half ticked on, the Bald Eagles looked poised to take the lead, but back-to-back goals just 35 seconds apart for the Golden Bears in the 77
th minute proved to be the crucial blow. The visitors held on through the final minutes to take home the 3-1 victory.
Megan Miller (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) made four saves in goal but faced 17 shots from the visitors.

Leana Cuzzocrea (Mars, Pa./Mars Area).
