With the win, Lock Haven improved to 2-0 in league play as the Bald Eagles picked up their second conference win in as many days. LHU opened PSAC play yesterday with a dominating win over Seton Hill at home. Since starting the season 0-2, Lock Haven has won four straight games.
The Bald Eagles exploded in the first quarter, dropping 23 points on the nationally ranked opponent. After a 10-6 start, LHU finished off the quarter with a 13-4 run over the final six minutes. Â

The final quarter saw both teams' offenses catch fire as each put up 24 points in the final period. Cal (Pa.) forced the Bald Eagles to hold strong, cutting the lead to just two with over a minute left in the game. LHU buckled down and shot 6-8 from the charity stripe in the final minute to help seal the deal and upset the nationally ranked opponent, 70-62.
