SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University tennis team (3-8, 1-4 PSAC) dropped an away match to Shippensburg University (3-10, 2-3 PSAC), 6-1, on Saturday morning in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.

Lock Haven fought hard in doubles action, picking up a victory at No. 2. The tandem of Christy McLean (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe) and Delani Wolever (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) cruised to a 6-2 victory but the host Raiders took the doubles team point with victories at No. 1 and a LHU forfeit at No. 3.

Mia Shuler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) picked up the lone win for the Bald Eagles in singles action. Shuler turned in a 6-2, 6-4 triumph at No. 2 singles to secure her sixth victory of the season in dual match action.
