LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University lacrosse team (7-6, 4-5 PSAC West) fell in a battle with Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West foe No. 22 Seton Hill University (12-3, 8-2 PSAC West) in an important divisional dual on the road.
Caitlin Morrow (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) scored two quick unassisted goals for the Bald Eagles before the Griffins were able to score six unanswered to take a 6-2 lead into the halftime break.
The Bald Eagles rallied to another two quick goals in the second half before Seton Hill was ultimately able to walk away with the victory, 16-8.
In total, Morrow collected three goals throughout the contest as all three shots that she placed on goal landed. Fellow attacker
Abby Katrinak (Strongsville, Ohio/ Strongsville) contributed two of her own goals and three other Bald Eagles added scores for the Lock Haven contingent.
Lauren Girardi (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) did her all to keep LHU in the game as she collected 14 saves throughout the contest. Maddy Lapiana (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Farmingdale) also played well on the defensive side of the ball as she caused three turnovers from her backfield position.

The Bald Eagles continue their PSAC West road trip as they head to Mercyhurst on Saturday (Apr. 23) before travelling to Slippery Rock on Wednesday (Apr. 27). Saturday's matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m. and Wednesday's game is scheduled for 4 p.m.
