The Haven hosts a trio of home events this weekend (Friday, Jan. 20 – Sunday, Jan. 22) with more action on the road, so here’s how you can track all of the action.

Swimming:

Back in Zimmerli Pool for the final time this season, the swimming team hosts Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m. That dual will also serve as Senior Day for the Bald Eagles seven graduation members of the Class of 2023. Saturday's meet serves as the Bald Eagles last outing before the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, and head coach Jerry Hammaker and The Haven will look to add to the list of swimmers who have already hit qualifying-marks this season.

Women’s Basketball:

The Haven women host Millersville on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Bald Eagles Alumnae Day. Lock Haven’s defensive unit has shined all season, led by freshman Alana Robinson who sits in second place in the conference with 32 blocked shots on the season. Saturday’s showdown holds serious playoff implications as Lock Haven sits fifth in the Eastern Division just ahead of the Marauders.

Men’s Basketball:

In the second leg of a Thomas Fieldhouse doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, The Haven men host Millersville at 3 p.m. The Bald Eagles currently hold the number three spot in the PSAC East at 11-4 overall this season. Dymir Montague holds the top spot in the conference in steals, as the senior has racked up 31 so far.

Indoor Track & Field:

Both the men’s and women’s teams are in action this Friday at the YSU Invitational in Youngstown, Ohio. Action will get underway at 12 p.m. This week, both Ryan Miller and Riyana Owens were named PSAC Athletes of the Week after a tremendous outing at the Nittany Lion Challenge. Miller ran to a PSAC and Lock Haven all-time best time of 1:20.43 in the 600-meters, while Owens dashed her way to PSAC qualifying-marks in both the 60 and 200 meter runs.

Men’s Wrestling:

The Bald Eagles open up Mid-American Conference (MAC) action this weekend with a pair of road duals. First on Friday, The Haven heads to Cleveland State for a 7 p.m. contest, before closing the weekend on Sunday with a 2 p.m. dual at Clarion. 

In yesterday’s (Jan. 19) initial NCAA Division I coaches’ rankings, Anthony Noto led the way for The Haven at No. 6 at 125 pounds, while Gable Strickland and Avery Bassett were both ranked No. 33 at 125 and 165 pounds, respectively.
