LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven swimming team was back in the pool today for the final time before the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships with a conference dual against Kutztown.

During today's meet, head coach
Jerry Hammaker and The Haven honored their seven graduating seniors:
Lily Arledge (Richwood, Ohio/River Valley),
KaceyMarie Berardinelli (Boothwyn, Pa./Archbishop John Carrol),
Ellie Flynn (Kersey, Pa./Elk County Catholic),
Kaycee Gisewhite (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield Area),
Shayla Graham (Blanchard, Pa./Bellwood Antis),
Madison Griffin (Douglasville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and
Lauren Mummert (York, Pa./Northeastern).

Emma Pequignot (Dover, Pa./Dover (Messiah)) brought home the first win of the day for the Bald Eagles in the 200-yard butterfly. Pequignot finished with a time of 2:26.93, seven seconds clear of second place. She also grabbed a second-place finish in both the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard IM.

Sydney Houck (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) turned in a strong outing to take the top spot in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:25.0.

Lauren Mummert (York, Pa./Northeastern) took first place in the 100-yard butterfly, just ahead of her teammate Pequignot, finishing in 1:04.85.

Mummert was joined by
KaceyMarie Berardinelli (Boothwyn, Pa./Archbishop John Carrol),
Madison Griffin (Douglasville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and
Lily Arledge (Richwood, Ohio/River Valley) as the quartet claimed first in the 200-yard freestyle relay to cap the dual.

Despite the numerous strong finishes, Kutztown took the dual victory on points 138-105.
