The Lock Haven men's basketball team took an early lead in a tough match-up and never looked back.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (13-5, 9-4 PSAC) took No. 25 East Stroudsburg (15-4, 9-4 PSAC) in an East Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) battle on Thursday night and the Bald Eagles took the home the massive road win, 83-73.

The win for Lock Haven was the first ranked win for the program since the 2019-2020 season when they knocked off No. 12 West Chester. It also marks the first win over the Warriors since 2017-2018.

Lock Haven was hitting on all cylinders on Thursday night and multiple players scored in double digits in the road win. The Bald Eagles heated up on the offensive end and poured in 41 points in the first half to take a 41-28 lead into halftime.

A trio of Bald Eagles finished with double digits led by Jayy Davis (Cheltenham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham (Washington Adventist)) who ended the night with 22 points on 50% from the three-point line. Dymir Montague (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) helped the Bald Eagles with 16 points and James Price (Joppa, Md./Archbishop Curley) added 15 points on a perfect 6-6 from the field.

The bench came up big for The Haven as with 17 points.

Lock Haven went on to win by ten as they led for thirty-five out of forty minutes of play 83-73. The Warriors put on a late push in the second half, but Lock Haven responded to knock off the hosts with a huge late push.
