EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven volleyball team fell 3-0 (10-25, 15-25, 14-25) to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East unbeaten East Stroudsburg University in a road match on Friday (Oct. 13).
With the loss, the Bald Eagles snapped a two-game winning streak but remain above .500 on the year with an 8-6 overall record and 3-3 mark in the PSAC East. The Warriors remain a perfect 6-0 in conference play, while improving to 13-5 overall.
The Warriors were successful on both sides of the net, leading the match 38-22 in kills, 51-40 in digs and 9-2 in blocks.
Evie Jane Rembold (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) finished with a team-high five kills and
Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) added 19 assists to lead the Bald Eagles on their offensive attack.
Reagan Irons (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone) and
Alyssa Daley (Everett, Pa./Everett) both tallied a block and
Madison Eckley (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle) finished with a team-high 12 digs to lead the defense.
