The Bald Eagles wrapped up their weekend at the Bowie State Tip-Off Classic with a non-conference game against Fayetteville State.

BOWIE, Md. – The Lock Haven men's basketball team (0-2) played a strong second half but were plagued by a slow start and the Bald Eagles fell to Fayetteville State (1-1), 72-67, in non-conference action at the Bowie State Tip-Off Classic on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 11).

Collin Jones (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) reached double-figures off the bench for the second straight game as he finished with a team-high 14 points, while going 8-of-9 at the charity stripe.

Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville Area), Eli Washington (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and Justice Shoats (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Holy Redeemer) rounded out the Bald Eagles in double-figures, finishing with 10 points each. Washington added a team-high six rebounds and four assists. Shoats and Harward each pulled in four rebounds.

Lock Haven shot a scorching 56 percent (15-of-27) from the floor in the second half and outscored the Broncos 41-39, but it wasn't enough to overcome a seven-point first-half deficit. Lock Haven also dominated points in the paint in the second half, leading 28-14.

Fayetteville State jumped out to a 33-26 lead after the first half thanks to 16 second-chance points and 10 points off turnovers.
