LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's basketball team is set for a non-conference road contest as they will travel to Wilmington, Delaware to take on Wilmington University at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 9).
 
The Bald Eagles enter the weekend with a 3-3 overall record and a 1-1 mark in the Pennsylvania State Athletic (PSAC).
 
Lock Haven was riding a three-game winning streak before falling to IUP in a hard-fought battle on Saturday.
 
The Bald Eagles opened PSAC play with a convincing 80-66 victory over University of Pitt-Johnstown on Friday.

JUSTICE SHOATS TABBED PSAC EAST DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
For the second straight week, Lock Haven men's basketball point guard Justice Shoats has been named PSAC Men's Basketball Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon (Dec. 4).
 
Shoats continues to power a strong Bald Eagle defensive unit, and helped Lock Haven start off PSAC play with a 1-1 record.
 
In the Bald Eagles victory over Pitt-Johnstown (80-66), Shoats recorded a game-high six steals, while blocked two shots at his point guard position.
 
Shoats also poured in 22 points on 10-of-18 shooting, while dishing out nine assists and pulling in six rebounds.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Bald Eagles fell to IUP, 68-63 on Saturday afternoon at home.
 
Saturday's East-West crossover contest snapped the Bald Eagles' three-game winning streak.
 
For Lock Haven, Collin Jones continues his tear on offense to start the season and finished with a tie for the team-lead with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Jones added four rebounds and went 6-of-7 at the foul line.
 
Shoats matched Jones' 18 points, while adding a team-high five assists.
