The Lock Haven men’s basketball team honored their five seniors before today’s game as the Bald Eagles dropped a conference clash with Kutztown.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (16-8, 12-7 PSAC) hosted Kutztown University (6-17, 6-12 PSAC) for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest, but the Golden Bears kept control and were able to win, 98-61.

Before tipoff, James Price (Joppa, Md./Archbishop Curley), Jayy Davis (Cheltenham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham (Washington Adventist)), Adam Freese (Stewartstown, Pa./Kennard-Dale), Dymir Montague (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti), and Kyle Everhart (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) were honored as the five senior members of the Bald Eagles.

Kutztown jumped out to an early 17-7 lead in the first five minutes, taking control the rest of the way. The Golden Bears went into halftime, holding a stronghold on the scoreboard, pushing their lead to as high as 30 before entering the locker room up 52-28.

The momentum stayed with the visitors, who kept control and eventually claimed victory over LHU by a final score of 98-61.

Four Bald Eagles saw double figures on the day with Price dropping a team-high 16, Eli Washington (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) scored 14, Davis chipped in 12, and Justice Shoats (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Holy Redeemer) tallied 11.
