For Noto, the awards continue to pile up after his remarkable run to All-American honors, cemented by his fourth-place finish at 2022-23 NCAA Division I Men's Wrestling National Championships. In earning All-American status, Noto became the 44th NCAA Division I All-American for the Bald Eagles, and the first since 2019.
Noto also claimed his second consecutive individual MAC title at 125 pounds on March 4.
Noto finished his run to fourth-place and All-American status with a 5-2 record at the 2023 NCAA Championships. The Bald Eagle finished the season with a sensational 34-4 record. On the season, Noto went 13-1 in duals and his 34 wins were a team-high. He recorded six tech falls, five pins and three major decisions.
Noto is now 65-7 in this remarkable two-year LHU career.
Last year, Noto was named the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year. He was also named InterMat's MAC Freshman of the Year last season.
Noto was one of four that competed at the 2022-23 NCAA Division I Men's Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
