MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's tennis team was back in action today (Sun., April 2) and the Bald Eagles (5-2, 1-1 PSAC) fell to Millersville (4-7, 3-0 PSAC), 7-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
For Lock Haven,
Mary Kathryn Hillman (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) and
Olivia Sharp (York, Pa./York County School of Technology) showed well for the Bald Eagles in No. 5 and No. 6 singles play, respectively.
Hillman fell to Millersville's Sarah McComas 6-0, 6-3, but the Bald Eagle battled hard in the second set. Sharp started strong, but fell to Kaityln Then 6-3, 6-1.
Maddy Reeves (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville),
Mia Shuler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport),
Olivia Anastos (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) and
Christy McLean (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe) also represented The Haven in singles play today at Millersville.
