LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Winners of 10 straight games, the Lock Haven women's basketball team is set to kick off the New Year with a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contests this week.
Lock Haven kicks off the week by traveling to Clarion for a 5:30 p.m. contest on Wednesday (Jan. 3) before returning home to host West Chester at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 6).
The contest on Saturday with No. 21 West Chester will open the Bald Eagles Eastern Division schedule in the PSAC.
The Bald Eagles are coming off a thrilling 50-49 overtime victory over Slippery Rock on Saturday. The win marked the 10
th straight for Lock Haven this season, who has not lost since its first game of the year.
The Bald Eagles are now 10-1 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC and sit in first place in the East as the only unbeaten team.
Lock Haven enters the week 5-0 at home and 4-0 on the road, with its one defeat coming in a neutral site contest.

With its winning streak on the ropes after the first half, the Bald Eagles never quit and willed its way to a 50-49 overtime victory against Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 30).
Alana Robinson continues her run of dominating performances in the paint and finished with a 20-point, 10-rebound, 7-block, two-steal performance to power The Haven.
Robinson's career-high seven blocks moves her season total to 27, which is 12 more than anyone else in the conference. Through just two seasons, Robinson is now fourth all-time in program history with 80 blocks.
Jenadia Jordan also finished in double figures, dropping 10 points to go with nine rebounds, three steals, and three assists. Jordan and Robinson combined to shoot 16-of-18 from the free throw line.
Rhlyn Rouse led the second unit with eight points and 10 rebounds.
Madeline Evans added nine rebounds.
Lock Haven, who scored a season-low 10 points in the first half on just 4-of-27 shooting, completely flipped the script in the second half to force overtime. Slippery Rock led 22-10 heading into the break.
The Haven outscored The Rock, 32-20, in the second half and 8-7 in overtime to secure the come-from-behind victory.
