LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's basketball team looks to remain scorching hot as they enter a week nine of the regular season which features a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division games.
 
The Bald Eagles host Mansfield inside Thomas Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Jan, 24 at 5:30 p.m., before traveling to Shippensburg on Saturday (Jan. 27) for a 1 p.m. showdown.  
 
The Haven enters the week with a 10-5 overall and 8-2 record the PSAC and remain in a tie for first in the East. The Bald Eagles are riding six-game winning streak dating back to December 30, 2023.
 
Lock Haven received its first set of votes in the D2CSC Atlantic Region Top-10 Poll on Monday, and is primed to crack the list with another strong week.
 
On Monday afternoon (Jan. 22), Justice Shoats was named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week. Shoats has been PSAC Athlete of the Week four times this season, as he earns his first honor on the offensive end, after bringing home the Defensive Athlete of the Week three times this year.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bald Eagles made a season-high 13 shots from behind the arch on its way to a convincing 84-72 victory over visiting Shepherd at Thomas Fieldhouse on Saturday.
 
With the victory, the Bald Eagles improve to 10-5 overall and 8-2 in the PSAC, remaining in a tie for the top spot in the Eastern Division.
 
The Bald Eagles, who have not lost in the new year, improve to 5-1 in front of the home crowd. Lock Haven's six-game winning streak dates back to Dec. 19.
 
With the loss, Shepherd falls to 6-10 overall with a 3-7 mark in conference play.
 
Lock Haven knocked down a season-high 13-of-23 shots from behind the arch, including eight trifectas in the first half.
 
The Haven received a huge boost from the second unit, which outscored Shepherd's 35-5 in bench points.
