LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –The Lock Haven men's soccer team fell to Slippery Rock, 3-2, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West showdown on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Hubert Jack Stadium.
In the first half, Lock Haven scored twice in the first 25 minutes to build a 2-0 advantage.
Connor Swope connected on a swooping corner kick in the 13th minute to give The Haven a 1-0 lead. The goal was the team-leading sixth for Swope.
The Bald Eagles wasted no time extending their lead to 2-0 after a goal on a penalty kick by
Danny Ogan.
However, with The Haven defense playing a man down, The Rock scored a goal in the 30th minute of the first half and added two more goals in the second to steal the 3-2 victory.

Lock Haven moves to 8-6-1 (5-3 PSAC West) on the season while Slippery Rock improves to 7-4-3 (4-2-2 PSAC West). Lock Haven remains in second place in the PSAC West with 15 points, while Slippery Rock moves into a tie for third with 14 points.
