The Lock Haven football team is set for its final home game of the 2024 season. The Bald Eagles will host Shippensburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East play on Saturday, Nov. 9 (Week 10) at 1 p.m.
 
Shippensburg is 2-7 overall, 1-5 in PSAC East play and the Red Raiders are 1-3 on the road this season.
 
Lock Haven is 3-6 overall and 2-4 in PSAC East play with wins over Millersville and Bloomsburg, and both of those wins came at home.
 
The Bald Eagle are 2-2 at Hubert Jack Stadium this season and enter Saturday's game after two straight games on the road, including a narrow defeat last week at longtime PSAC East power West Chester.
 
Game Day Promotions:
- Senior Day 2024 - Lock Haven will honor 13 senior football players Saturday in the pregame, along with senior cheerleaders and marching band members.
- Military & Veterans Appreciation Day - in partnership with the PA National Guard (Details at GoLHU.com)

On Saturday (Nov. 9) the Lock Haven Department of Athletics is partnering with the Pennsylvania National Guard to host Veterans & Military Appreciation Day.

Food Vendors:
Always a fan favorite, the Snyders Concessions' food truck will be on hand once again for home football games this season. Snyders will have a variety of food options for purchase throughout the season. Lock Haven athletics has also partnered with Avenue 209 Coffee House and the local favorite will be on hand for select home athletic events throughout the year with a variety of refreshments.
 
Ticket Update:
The Lock Haven Department of Athletics announced that the Bald Eagles will move to online ticket sales only (no cash; online card sales only – pre-sales and/or on game day) for home football, volleyball, men's and women's wrestling, and men's and women's basketball contests for the 2024-25 season, and beyond.

Tickets can be purchased at Hubert Jack Stadium on game day – with a card (no cash).
 
*A credit card service fee of will be applied to all transactions.
 
**Individuals who purchase tickets prior to game day will be required to show purchase of proof via receipt.

- Seniors 65 and older & Students - $10
- Children under 5 - FREE
- Lock Haven students, faculty & staff - FREE with Lock Haven ID
- Veterans & Active Military - FREE with ID
 
Parking / Trolley Advisory:
On gameday, there is no general parking at Hubert Jack Stadium. Parking is limited at the stadium to tailgate pass holders and ADA parking.
 
Fans are encouraged to park for free in the Zimmerli Lots (Lot No. 8, and 16).
 
Starting at 11:30. on Saturday, a free trolley/shuttle will be available to transport fans from the Zimmerli Lot Area (Lot No. 8) to the stadium. The trolley will run from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. from the Zimmerli Lot Area to Hubert Jack Stadium. A campus map is available at GoLHU.com.
 
Additionally, the Lock Haven campus community should note that - the parking lot at the stadium will be closed, Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 p.m. and will remain closed until 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, when the lot will be opened for tailgating. Vehicles not removed from the parking lot by 10 p.m. Friday may be towed at the owner's expense. Please contact University Police if you have any questions: 570-484-2278 or police@lockhaven.edu.
 
Tailgating:
The tailgate lot will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 - for the Lock Haven – Shippensburg game - for those holding a season or single-game tailgate pass.

Digital Programs:
The Lock Haven Department of Athletics, in partnership with the Athletic Communications and Marketing office, is excited to offer fans and followers of the Bald Eagles a new way to access game day information while in attendance with the introduction of digital programs at home events for the 2024-25 academic year. Lock Haven's digital game programs are responsive in design and the setup is optimized for viewing on a mobile device, automatically scaling text and pictures to the proper size.
 
QR codes will be located at each Lock Haven athletic competition facilities, that will direct fans to the Gameday Program hub. Access to digital programs will be free of charge. Please note, printed programs will no longer be available on game day at home events. Gameday Hub.

Lock Haven Game Notes & Highlights:
- Saturday's marks Lock Haven's final home game of the 2024 season. The Bald Eagles are 2-2 at home this season.
- The Lock Haven vs. Shippensburg game is one seven PSAC football games on the Week-10 slate.
- QB Jackson Ostrowsky leads the PSAC in passing yards (2,596), passing yards/game (288.4) and passing touchdowns (20). His 2,596 yards rank No. 5 in Division II. Ostrowsky already ranks among the top-five all-time for passing yards and passing TDs for a single-season at Lock Haven.
- Lock Haven's defense ranks No. 2 in the PSAC in forced fumbles and No. 6 in interceptions with nine and eight, respectively.
- Last week, Justin Anderson's remarkable effort of seven tackles included 1.5 tackles-for-loss, which pushed his career tackles-for-loss mark to 32, the third-most in school history.
