LOCK HAVEN, Pa.– The No. 19 Lock Haven women's basketball team is set for a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contests beginning Wednesday (Feb. 14).  
 
In a poll released today by the NCAA DII College Sports Communicators (D2CSC), the Bald Eagles moved up three spots from No. 22 to No. 19 after their victory over Kutztown last Wednesday. The Haven received 125 points in the poll.
 
The Bald Eagles are also ranked No. 3 in the D2CSC Atlantic Region.

The Bald Eagles kick off this week by hosting East Stroudsburg on Wednesday (5:30 p.m.), before hitting the road for a game at Shepherd on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m.
 
The Haven, who lost its first game since the first contest of the regular season on Saturday (Feb. 3), is looking to create a new winning streak after downing Kutztown at home last Wednesday. The Bald Eagles held a 19-game winning streak this season to reach as high as No. 14 in the D2CSC National Rankings.
 
Lock Haven (20-2, 15-1 PSAC) is in the midst of its best regular season in program history and currently holds a three-game advantage over second-place West Chester in the PSAC East. The two schools split their home-road contests this season.
 
The Haven will look to remain unbeaten at home (10-0) on Wednesday and improve on its 9-1 road record on Saturday.
 
The Bald Eagles have locked a berth to the PSAC Postseason Tournament and will now have their sites set on clinching the one seed in the Eastern Division with six games remaining in the regular season.

The No. 22 Bald Eagles lost its first game in 84 days, but Lock Haven bounced back at home in a big way as The Haven downed Kutztown, 56-46, last Wednesday.
 
The visitors led 31-26 at halftime, but the Bald Eagles responded in a big way during the second half. The Haven used 17-point third quarter that saw the home team outscore KU, 17-6 in the third.
 
Three different Bald Eagles scored in double figures including Taylor Leidy who netted a team-high 14 points. Olivia Smith scored 12 points and Jenadia Jordan added 11.
 
Jordan's 11 points were part of a double-double as she also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds. Smith and Leidy both finished with five rebounds each. Jordan, Leidy and Smith did it all tonight and finished with six, five and three assists, respectively.
 
Alana Robinson led the defense once again and finished with three blocks. The three blocks tonight pushed her season total to 56 which broke her own single-season record of 53, set last season as a rookie.
