LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After a perfect week soared the Lock Haven men's basketball team into a tie for first place in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division, the Bald Eagles will look to keep ground at the top of the East with a pair of contests coming up this week.  
 
Lock Haven kicks off the week by traveling to Mansfield on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.), before returning to Thomas Fieldhouse to host Shippensburg on Sunday (3 p.m.)
 
After another 2-0 week, Lock Haven improved to 17-6 overall and 15-3 in PSAC play. The victories, the fourth straight for the Bald Eagles, helped them improve to an impressive 8-4 on the road and 9-1 at home this season.
 
After defeating No. 10/7 ESU and Shepherd last week, the Bald Eagles' 15-3 mark in PSAC play keeps The Haven in a three-way for first in the PSAC Eastern Division standings with East Stroudsburg and Millersville.
 
The Bald Eagles swept ESU and will hold the tiebreaker over the Warriors. Lock Haven takes on Millersville on the final game of the regular season (March 2) and will need a victory to secure the season split.
 
On Monday (Feb. 19) the Bald Eagles were announced as the No. 8 team in the NCAA DII College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) Atlantic Region rankings, moving up two spots from their previous ranking. This serves as the last D2CSC Regional Ranking of the season and the NCAA Regional Polls will be announced on Wednesday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bald Eagles put on a surge midway through the second half and never looked back as they cruised to an important, 60-49, late-season PSAC East win on the road at Shepherd University.
 
Leading the way today for the Bald Eagles was Isaiah Stewart who scored a game-high 19 points. He knocked down four 3's and added seven rebounds.
 
Justice Shoats turned in another dynamic performance and finished with 17 points, four assists and two steals.
 
Jalen Gorham added seven points and eight rebounds, and Dyson Harward netted seven points to go along with six boards.
