LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After clinching its first 22-win season in 34 years, the nationally-ranked Lock Haven women's basketball team will look to clinch the top-seed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division with a pair of victories this week.  
 
Lock Haven kicks off the week by traveling to Mansfield on Wednesday (5:30 p.m.) before hosting Shippensburg on Sunday (1 p.m.).
 
The Bald Eagles have been on an historic run this season and have won 22 games for the first time since 1989-90.
 
Lock Haven won its first 14 PSAC games this season and have held a firm hold on first place in the conference all season long.  
 
A pair of victories will lock up the top seed in the PSAC East for the Bald Eagles, who at 22-2 overall and 17-1 in the PSAC sit three games ahead of second-place West Chester with four regular season games remaining.
 
Lock Haven enters the week with a perfect 11-0 record at home and an impressive 10-1 road mark.
 
The No. 24 ranking is the first for Lock Haven in the WBCA National Poll this season. The Bald Eagles have been ranked in the D2CSC poll since Jan. 23.
 
The Bald Eagles also moved up to No. 18 in the D2CSC poll and remain the third-ranked team in the D2CSC Atlantic Region.
 
The NCAA DII Women's Basketball regional rankings will be release tomorrow (Feb. 21) and will have major implications on the Region and NCAA Tournament.
 
Tuesday's rankings mark the first time in program history the Bald Eagles have been named top-25 in both major polls.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bald Eagles continued to rewrite history in 2023-24 and won its 22 game of the season by downing Shepherd on the road, 69-52, to continue to create separation at the top of the PSAC East.
 
Bald Eagle leading scorer Jenadia Jordan reached the 20-point mark for the sixth time this season as she knocked down a game-high 10-of-15 shots at the foul line and both of her three-pointers. The sophomore added five rebounds and a game-high three steals.
 
Alana Robinson finished behind her with 16 points and seven rebounds, while going a perfect 6-of-6 at the charity stripe.
 
Rhlyn Rouse continued her scoring tear off the bench, chipping in 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
 
Madeline Evans filled the stat sheet with seven points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal. Carly Fitzmorris (Hamburg, N.J./Pope John XXIII) added three assists off the bench.
