LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's basketball team controls its own fate in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) final conference standings with two games remaining in the regular season.   
 
Lock Haven kicks off the week by traveling to Bloomsburg on Wednesday (Feb. 28) at 7:30 p.m. before hosting No. 20 Millersville on Saturday (March 2) at 3 p.m. on Senior Day.
 
The Bald Eagles (18-7, 16-4 PSAC) are currently in a tie with nationally-ranked ESU for second place in the Eastern Division. The Haven hosts first-place Millersville on Saturday, which could serve as a showdown that will decide the top seed in the PSAC Championship Tournament if the Bald Eagles win on Wednesday.
 
Lock Haven is 2-0 against ESU and currently 0-1 vs. Millersville. A victory on Saturday would secure both tiebreakers in favor of the Bald Eagles and would make them the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
 
A 2-0 week would set Lock Haven up for a second round Conference Tournament game at home on Wednesday, March 6. If the Bald Eagles fall to the three seed, they would host the first round of the PSAC Championships on Monday, March 4 at Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
The Bald Eagles historic season earned them a top-10 ranking in the first edition of the NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings last week. The rankings are a key factor in deciding the automatic bids to the NCAA National Championships.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bald Eagles trailed at the break, but erupted for 59 points in the second half to fly past Shippensburg, 89-64, in a PSAC contest on Sunday afternoon inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
After trailing 33-30 coming out of halftime, the Bald Eagles erupted for a season-high 59 points on a scorching 66 percent (23-of-35) shooting from the field to soar to victory.
 
The 89 points scored in the game was a tie for the season lead for Lock Haven.
 
The Haven knocked down five of their seven three-pointers in the game in the second half, while nearly doubling their makes from the field (23-of-35). After shooting just 16 percent from three in the first half, the Bald Eagles knocked down 43 percent of their shots from deep.
 
Lock Haven led 56-28 in paint-points and 20-5 in fast-break points.
 
Dyson Harward was the straw that stirred the drink for Lock Haven, as he finished with a near triple-double. The graduate senior scored 14 points, pulled in 14 rebounds and dished out a season-high seven assists. Harward added three blocks and a steal.
 
Justice Shoats scored 20 or more points for the 14th time this season, finishing with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
 
Isaiah Stewart finished with 13 points and a game-high six assists, while knocking down 3-of-5 shots from behind the arch.
 
Jalen Gorham and Collin Jones both added 13 points, while Bryson Scott chipped in seven points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
