LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – With the No. 1 seed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East locked up, the No. 23/14 Lock Haven women's basketball team will look to carry momentum into the conference tournament as it wraps up the regular season with its two final games.
 
Lock Haven kicks off the week by traveling to Bloomsburg on Wednesday (Feb. 28) at 5:30 p.m. before closing the regular season on Saturday (March 2) at 1 p.m. when it hosts Millersville for Senior Day.
 
Lock Haven is in the midst of its best regular season in program history.
 
The Bald Eagles went 2-0 last week to improve to 24-2 overall and 19-1 in the PSAC to officially clinch the No. 1 seed in the PSAC East. The No. 1 seed sets the Bald Eagles up to host the PSAC final four with a victory in the second round on Wednesday, March 6. The Haven will have a buy in the opening round, before hosting the round two contest at Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
The Haven has held the top spot in the Eastern Conference the entirety of the season.
 
Lock Haven enters the week with a perfect 12-0 record at home and an impressive 11-1 road mark.
 
The Bald Eagles will attempt to finish the regular season with a perfect record at home on Saturday against Millersville.
 
Last week, the NCAA released its first DII Atlantic Region top-10 list and the Bald Eagles were one of the teams selected. The rankings help determine the automatic bids for the NCAA Championship Tournament.

LAST TIME OUT
The nationally-ranked Bald Eagles soared to a 64-51 PSAC victory over Shippensburg on Sunday afternoon inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
The Bald Eagles led from the tip and held an advantage in points scored in each quarter but the fourth.
 
Lock Haven's greatest stretch took place over the second and third period where they outscored the Raiders, 31-18. Lock Haven knocked down six three-pointers, while holding the Raiders to 0-of-10 from behind the arch for the game.
 
The Haven blocked a game-high 10 shots, led by five from the program's all-time leader in blocks Alana Robinson. Robinson added 12 points and nine rebounds.
 
Jenadia Jordan scored a game-high 14 points, while adding seven rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks.
 
Taylor Leidy also finished in double figures, pouring in 13 points, while knocking down a team high three shots from behind the arch.
 
Rhlyn Rouse added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
