Tennis falls at Bloomsburg

The Bald Eagles visited Bloomsburg for a PSAC East tennis match on Tuesday afternoon.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven tennis team fell in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match, 7-0, to Bloomsburg on the road on Tuesday afternoon (April 9).
 
The Bald Eagles move to 5-2 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg moves to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the East. 
 
In doubles, Bloomsburg took two out of three matches to earn the doubles team point for the contest.
 
At No. 3 doubles, Claire Long (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) and Alaina Marchioni (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) continue their hot run as a team, securing a 7-5 win, improving their team record to 4-1 and their doubles records to 4-1 and 3-1, respectively.
 
Bloomsburg took six singles matches in the contest.
 
UP NEXT:
The Bald Eagles will host West Chester at the Lock Haven Tennis Courts on Saturday (April 13), their first home conference match of the spring season.
