LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
Connor Swope scored the game's only goal in the 68
th minute after a remarkable run through the Ram defense and the second-half tally helped the Lock Haven men's soccer team (3-3-1) down Shepherd (2-3-2), 1-0, on Homecoming.
With the win, Lock Haven moved to 3-3-1 overall and Shepherd fell to 2-3-2.

Ethan Beck made four total saves including two brilliant stops late in the second half as he marched his way to a shutout.

Matt Laudenslager led the way for the Bald Eagles and
Danny Ogan turned in a notable effort.
Despite eight first-half shots from Lock Haven, the match remained scoreless after the opening 45 minutes of play.
Lock Haven controlled possession throughout, but Shepherd found one of the game's best scoring chances in the 62
nd minute when Conner Fedorko drilled a shot at the near post, but Beck was on hand for the stop.
It was an all-around brilliant individual effort that led Swope to his goal in the 68
th minute. He collected the ball 30 yards out where he cut in and by five Ram defenders - before neatly tucking the ball home inside the near post from just inside the box.
