LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven volleyball team hosted Shepherd inside Thomas Fieldhouse in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match on Saturday, Oct. 4. The Rams won the match 3-1 (25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22).
 
Saturday's Eastern Division battle was close throughout with the Rams edging The Haven by just three points in two of their three set wins.  
 
The Bald Eagles' best set came in the third, outscoring Shepherd 25-21, with 19 kills in the frame.
 
Lola Coulter led the Bald Eagles' offense with 18 kills in the contest. Maddie Mitchell also added 14 kills.
 
Gabby Gealey finished with 26 assists and Madelyn Wagner followed with 23. 
 
Avery Smith and Mitchell both added three aces.
 
Olivia Taylor headlined the Bald Eagle's defense with 17 digs.
 
Lock Haven falls to 3-12 overall and 1-2 in PSAC East play and Shepherd improves to 12-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Lock Haven will start a weekend road trip starting at Millerville on Friday (Oct. 10) at 6 p.m.  followed by going to West Chester on Saturday (Oct. 11) at 1 p.m.
