LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Kelsey Felix made 15 saves and
Paula Sigley Scored to highlight the Lock Haven field hockey team in its 4-1 defeat at the hands of visiting Saint Francis in a non-conference game at Charlotte Smith Field on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 5).
Sigley scored her second goal of the season in the 48
th minute off an assist from
Madison Friend.
However, Saint Francis scored a goal in each quarter to secure the victory.
Felix was electric in goal from start to finish and limited the nine-win Red Flash to four goals, despite facing 27 shots.
The senior keeper made double digit saves for the third straight game and sixth time this season.
Friend and Sigley recorded the Bald Eagles' shots on goal, while
Melanie Beall added a pair of shot attempts.
