COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's wrestling team traveled to Ursinus on Thursday (Nov. 13) and rallied late to pick up an impressive 26-18 victory. The contest marked the beginning of the dual season for the Bald Eagles, who start 1-0.
Lock Haven won the last three matches to come back from a late 17-13 deficit.
Raegan Snider (160) pinned Ashley Diaz to flip the momentum for the Bald Eagles, putting them on top 18-17.
Azariah Moore (180) earned an 11-1 tech fall over Jurelys Peguero Del Rosario to extend the Lock Haven lead to 22-18
Lindsay Laws (207) closed things out by earning a 10-0 tech fall over Gianna Perez to secure a 26-18 Lock Haven victory.
Journie Rodriguez (117) got Lock Haven on the board by earning a 13-2 tech fall over Olivia Guy to cut the Ursinus lead to 10-4.
Jayleah Pletz (124) followed by earning a tight 3-2 decision over Kalli Roskos cutting the deficit to 11-7.
Charlotte Gilfoil (138) earned a quick pin over Paisley Fox to make the Ursinus lead 14-12.
