Zalar and relay teams headline Men’s Track & Field at Utica

The Bald Eagles competed in the Blue & Orange Invite hosted by Utica on Saturday

UTICA, N.Y. – Following a record-breaking meet last weekend, the Lock Haven men's track & field team competed in the Blue & Orange Invite hosted by Utica University on Saturday (Feb. 8).

Running Highlights
The team of Jarrett Lee, Cam Marquette, Skylar Small, and Colin Simander secured first place in the men's distance medley with a time of 11:04.38.

Dylan Cassetori, Lukas Epitropakis, Brennan Miller, and Kravetz finished second in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:32.63.

In the 4x400-meter relay the quartet of Jacob Watson, Reinard, Anden Aitkins, and Ryan Williams finished third with a time of 3:37.22.

Kravtez and Reinard both hit another PSAC Championship mark in the 60-meter hurdles for the second week in a row with times of 8.31 and 8.64. Kravtez's time also earned him a third-place finish.

Thompson ran well in the 400-meter, placing in the top-five with a time of 52.24.
 
Field Highlights
Zalar continues to dominate in the weight throw, earning himself first place with a throw of 59-0.
 
Ben Streator jumped to a top-10 finish in the high jump with a jump of 5-11.5.
 
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles return to action next weekend on Friday & Saturday, Feb.14-15. The Haven will compete in the YSU Last Chance Meet (Yougstown State) on Friday, before traveling to the Kane Invitational (Cornell) on Saturday.
