SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – Matthew Muthler and Nick Bellomo competed in the (Maroon) decathlon at the SU Outdoor Multi hosted by Susquehanna University Thursday and Friday afternoon.
 
The SU Outdoor Multi took place on the Amos Alonzo Stagg Field at Doug Arthur Stadium.
 
Matthew Muthler ended the two-day decathlon in second with an NCAA provisional mark of 6505 points. Muthler bested the field in the (Maroon) decathlon in five events.
 
On the first day, he won the shot put with a throw of 39-8 and the high jump with a height of 6-06.75.
 
On the second day, Muthler won the discus throw with a distance of 125-07, the javelin throw with a distance of 185-02, and the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:30.00.
 
Nick Bellomo also achieved an NCAA provisional mark with 6505 points, finishing fourth in the (Maroon) decathlon. Bellomo won the pole vault with a height of 14-05.25 and was in the top five in three other events.
