LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's track and field team returned to action for week four of its outdoor season, competing in the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell on Saturday and Sunday.
The Bison Outdoor Classic took place at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.
PSAC & NCAA Qualifying Marks

Saturday Highlights
Morgan Gavitt led the way for The Haven on day one of the Bison Outdoor Classic, finishing 18th in the field of over 100 athletes with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) time of 1:53.41 in the 800-meter run.
Gavin Furey, Skylar Small and Anden Aitkins ran the 800-meter race, finishing with times of 1:56.87, 1:58.75 and 2:00.42.
In the shot put, a pair of Bald Eagles competed, Eric Zalar threw for a PSAC distance of 47-5, and Nathan Fetchkan threw a distance of 43-04.25.
The 5000-meter invite was run by Jakob Rager, who ran to a PSAC time of 14:59.73.
Distance runner Kristian Mizdail ran in the 10,000-meter run for a time of 32:28.85.
Sunday Highlights
Josiah Schans broke the program record in the 110-meter hurdles, which was set back in 2019, finishing first with a PSAC and NCAA Division II provisional time of 14.25.
Schans was joined by Dylan Cassetori, Michael Lawrence, and Brennan Miller in the 4x100-meter relay, which finished with a time of 42.58.
Zalar hit another PSAC mark, this time in the hammer throw, and also hit an NCAA mark with a distance of 195-01.
Ryan Miller dominated the 400-meter race, finishing first with a PSAC time of 47.68, and ran in the 200-meter dash, cracking the top 10 with a PSAC time of 21.59.
Sprinters Lawrence, Jaden Wright, and Cassetori ran in the 100-meter dash, finishing with times of 11.01, 11.17 and 11.20, respectively.
A pair of Bald Eagles threw in the javelin throw, Ben Smith and Keegan Gwinn threw for a distance of 159-03 and 156-07.
The squad of Lorenzo Thompson, B. Miller, Aydan Summer and Ryan Williams ran the 4x400-meter relay, finishing sixth with a time of 3:19.26.
Evan Klinger ran 4:27.88 in the mile, and Jarrett Lee ran 4:33.15 in the same event.
Colin Simander competed in the 3000-meter with a time of 9:17.88.

The Bald Eagles will travel to Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, April 16, to compete in the Ship Mid-Week Meet hosted by Shippensburg University.
