WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Lock Haven men's track and field team returned to action for week three of its outdoor season, competing in the three-day Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary from Thursday to Saturday.
The Colonial Relays took place on Cary Field at Walter J. Zable Stadium.
PSAC and NCAA Qualifying Marks

Thursday Results
The hammer throw was the only event held on Thursday. Leading the way was Eric Zalar with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and NCAA Division II throw of 191-08.25, finishing second. Nathan Fetchkan also threw for a distance of 152-03.75 in the same event.
Friday Results
The Bald Eagles were led on day two by Ryan Miller, finishing first in the 400-meter dash, posting a PSAC and NCAA Division II provisional mark of 47.13. That time puts Miller second in program history.
Also finishing first was Peter Bellomo with a PSAC and a NCAA Division II throw of 203-09.25 in the javelin throw. In the same event, Carter Young (166-08.25) and Ben Smith (163-09.50) scored points and cracked the top-10.
Securing a medal in the 5000-meter run was Jakob Rager, finishing third with a time of 15:27.05.
A trio of Bald Eagles hit PSAC qualifying times in the 3000-meter steeplechase, Cade McLaughlin, Evan Klinger and Owen Hibell finishing with times of 9:41.32, 9:44.76 and 9:48.52, respectively.
Josiah Schans finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a PSAC time of 53.56.
In the 800-meter run, Anden Aitkins finished with a PSAC time of 1:56.32, finishing 10th.
Rounding out an eventful day two for The Haven was Gavin Furey, who finished with a PSAC time of 4:00.39 in the 1500-meter run.
Saturday Results
The relay teams were out in full force on day three, with the Bald Eagle squad of Nick Bellomo, Michael Lawrence, Matthew Muthler and R. Miller finishing first and breaking the program-record in the 1600-meter sprint medley relay, which was set 22 years ago in 2003 with a time of 3:25.66.
The 110-meter hurdles saw Schans finish with a fourth-best time in program history, achieving a PSAC-qualifying time of 14.61 and placing fifth.
Additionally, the team of Lorenzo Thompson, Jorge Santana, Jaden Wright and Schans achieved a fourth-best time in Lock Haven history, finishing fourth with a time of 1:29.11 in the 4x200-meter relay.
Morgan Gavitt hit a PSAC time of 1:54.26 in the 800-meter invitational run, finishing in the top 10.
Securing bronze in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:14.61 was the crew of Brennan Miller, Muthler, Aydan Summers and R. Miller.

The Bald Eagles will travel to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Thursday and Friday, April 10-11, to compete in the two-day Susquehanna Outdoor Multi hosted by Susquehanna University.
