LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's track and field team hosted the Lock Haven Qualifier for its final regular season meet on Saturday afternoon.
The Lock Haven Qualifier took place at Glen Allison Family Track & Field Complex.

Track Highlights
The shuttle hurdles relay team broke the school record, set last year, this afternoon with a time of 1:01.06, while also finishing first and that time currently stands 10th in the nation in all divisions.
Josiah Schans hit a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and a NCAA Division II provisional mark in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing second with a time of 14.38. Finishing fourth and fifth was
Jorge Santana with a time of 15.16 and
Austin Kravetz with a time of 15.71.
Schans also hit a PSAC time in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 54.54 for first place.
Matt Reinard secured a PSAC time of 55.16, finishing second. Satana finished third with a time of 57.40.
In the 100-meter,
Ryan Miller took second with a time of 10.93.
Jaden Wright and
Garrison Lucas finished seventh and eighth with times of 11.26 and 11.31, respectively.
R. Miller took first-place in the 200-meter with a time of 21.76 and
Nick Bellomo finished third with a time of 22.18.
Jakob Rager and
Gavin Furey both hit PSAC times in the 800-meter with Rager finishing first with a PSAC time of 1:53.31 and Furey finishing second with a PSAC time of 1:53.76.
Ridge Snyder finished third with a time of 1:56.83. Rager's time puts him third in PSAC and Furey's time puts him fifth and puts Lock Haven third through fifth in the PSAC standings.
Aydan Summer took first-place in the 400-meter with a time of 50.04 and
Sage Carr took seventh with a time of 52.83.
In the 3000-meter steeplechase,
Colin Simander finished second with a time of 10:05.17.
Lock Haven 4x100-meter relay team "C" finished third with a time of 43.88 and relay team "B" finished fourth with a time of 44.07.
The distance medley relay team ran to a second-place finish with a time of 11:27.67.
The 4x400-meter relay team finished second with a time of 3:47.00.
Lock Haven's two 4x800-meter relay teams finished with times of 8:20.04 and 8:58.95, respectively.
Kristian Mizdail and
Jarrett Lee competed in the mile, with Mizdail taking third with a time of 4:29.57 and Lee finishing fifth with a time of 4:31.74.
Field Highlights
Peter Bellomo hit both a PSAC and a NCAA Division II provisional mark with a throw of 213-05 winning the javelin throw and throwing a new fifth best throw in Lock Haven history.
Also, in the javelin
Carter Young threw for a PSAC and NCAA Division II provisional mark with a throw of 196-06 and
Ben Smith threw for a PSAC distance of 174-07, finishing second and fourth.
Lock Haven swept the top three places in the hammer throw with
Eric Zalar finishing first with a PSAC throw of 185-02,
Nathan Fetchkan finishing second with a throw of 160-09 and
Colton Myers finishing third with a throw of 148-10.
Fetchkan also threw in the shot put finishing third with a throw of 42-11.00.
Long Jumpers
Jaden Wright,
Ben Streator and
Chase Young finished second, third and fourth with jumps of 20-04.25, 20-00.25 and 19-09.50.
Michael Lawrence secured second-place in the triple jump with a PSAC leap of 45-05.25.
Matthew Muthler achieved a PSAC height of 6-04.75 finishing second and
Ben Streator finished third with a height of 6-01.50.
In the pole vault
Kevin Taylor finished in first with a height of 13-11.25 with Muthler also competing in the pole vault finishing second with a height of 12-11.50.
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles will travel to compete in the PSAC Championships hosted by Slippery Rock University on Thursday through Saturday, May 8-10.
