SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's track & field team competed on day one of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania on Thursday.
The three-day event will continue on Friday and Saturday, May 9-10 at Slippery Rock's William C. Lennox Track.

Eric Zalar placed second in the hammer throw with an NCAA DII provisional throw of 190-2. The mark earned Zalar a silver medal and All-PSAC honors.
Fellow Bald Eagle throwers,
Nathan Fetchkan and
Colton Myers, also threw in the hammer throw, finishing with throws of 161-3 and 134-6, respectively.
Matthew Muthler currently sits atop the field in the decathlon with 3902 points through five events. Muthler won the shot put (41-2.5), the high jump (6-6.5) and the 400-meter dash (48.56).
Nick Bellomo is currently in sixth place in the decathlon with 3599 points on day one. Bellomo won the decathlon 100-meter dash with a blazing time of 10.72. Bellomo finished third in the 400-meter with a time of 49.66.
