LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven field hockey team opened its 2025 home schedule by hosting Delaware at Charlotte Smith Field on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 21). Delaware won the contest 4-0.
Sunday was the first game for the Bald Eagles (0-8) in front of the home crowd of Charlotte Smith Field.
The first half featured a defensive battle with Delaware scoring the lone goal to carry at 1-0 advantage into the break.
Lock Haven held the Blue Hens off the scoreboard in the third period, however, Delaware struck for three goals in the final 15 minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Bald Eagles recorded three shots on goal by
Madison Friend,
Aubrey Richards and
Paula Sigley.
In cage,
Kelsey Felix finished with a game-high five saves.

The Haven remains home and will host Davidson at Charlotte Smith Field at 6 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 26) for an Atlantic-10 (A-10) Conference game.
