AMHERST, N.Y. – Camden Marquette scored twice to lead the Lock Haven men's soccer team to a convincing 3-1 victory in an away game at non-conference foe Daemen on Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 23).
With the victory, The Haven improves to 3-3-1 overall.
After a quiet first 40 minutes of the game, the Wildcats (1-7) scored to go up 1-0.
With less than two minutes to go in the first half, Marquette tied the contest at 1-1 off an assist from Kyle Hoyt.
At the 49th minute, Marquette scored another goal, this time unassisted, pushing the lead to 2-1.
In the late stages, Noah Brady scored his first goal of his career off an assist from Marquette.
Bald Eagle goalkeeper Reece Kordes collected four saves throughout the game to earn his first victory in net.
On the attack, Lock Haven led 18-11 in shots and 7-5 in corner opportunities. Marquette had a foot in every goal and Evan Jennings finished with a team-high four shots.
