LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's tennis team hosted non-conference opponent Lycoming College at the Lock Haven Tennis Courts on Tuesday (Sept. 30). The Bald Eagles soared to a 5-2 victory over the Warriors in their final match of the 2025 fall season.
The Bald Eagles won all three matches in doubles action to earn the match point.
Megan Ferris and
Alaina Marchioni won 6-4 at No. 1,
Maci Rohrbach and
Breanna Chicas won 6-3 at No. 2 and
Maggie Blasetti and
Hope Lapinski won 6-2 at No. 3 to make up the sweep.
The Haven secured the victory by taking four of the six matches in singles play.
Rohrbach was victorious at No. 2 singles after taking down Greta Kimble 6-1 and 6-0.
Marchioni also won at No. 3 singles over Cassandra Conner, 6-1, 6-4.
Chicas kept things rolling with a victory over Yeanneth Rosado by a score of 6-2, 6-4.
At No. 5 singles,
Emily Brinker took down Reyna Kirick 6-1, 6-3 to round out the Bald Eagle individual winners.
With the victory, The Haven closes the fall with a 2-3 overall record.
